  2. Mix flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Carefully pour the mixture into the jar using a canning funnel or rolled piece of wax paper (whomever you give the gift to will add the wet ingredients, so be sure to give them the recipe)
  3. Lightly tamp the flour mixture with an ice cream scoop or spoon

18 cm diameter circle cut from lightweight fabric in a seasonal color or design
45 to 60 cm coordinating ribbon
Printed or handwritten recipe card (with small hole punched in top corner)

Instructions

  1. Once you have sealed the jar of dry cookie mix, center the fabric circle over top of the lid
  2. String ribbon through the respective recipe card through the hole punch
  3. Smooth the circle down over the top of the jar, then wrap ribbon around fabric and tie into a tight bow
