Meet Tide Athlete Ambassador Rosie MacLennan

Canadian trampolinist Rosie MacLennan has partnered with Tide on her journey to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Rosie MacLennan is proud to be the Tide brand ambassador and a member of P&G’s “Thank You Mom” team, along with her mom Jane MacLennan.

Sixteen years after starting trampoline, Rosie MacLennan competed in the 2012 London Olympic Games—her second Olympics—and won Canada’s only gold medal. Performing the most difficult routine of the competition, Rosie earned a career-high score of 57.305 and secured Canada’s first-ever trampoline gold medal at an Olympic Games. After her triumph in London, she maintained her top international ranking and won her first world title at the 2013 FIG World Championships and followed that with a silver medal the following year. At the Toronto Pan Am Games in 2015, Rosie entered as the reigning champion and successfully defended her title.

Coming from a family of four kids – all of who were actively involved in sports – Rosie’s family relied on Tide to keep their sports gear and all their clothes clean and fresh. Jane always reminds Rosie that it’s her size and power that makes her stand out from the crowd. That's why partnering with Tide, and specifically the Tide Pods “small but powerful” campaign, is a great fit for them as it provides them with a great platform to talk about how small really can be powerful.
