Meet Gillette Venus Athlete Ambassador Jennifer Abel

Canadian diver Jennifer Abel has partnered with Gillette Venus on the road to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Jennifer Abel is proud to be a Gillette Venus brand ambassador and member of P&G’s “Thank You Mom” team, along with her mom Sylvie Danis.

Jennifer Abel broke onto the international scene in 2006 with a 3m bronze medal at the World Junior Championships. Two years later, at 16 years old, she was the youngest Canadian diver at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. At the London 2012 Olympic Games, Abel and then partner Émilie Heymans won a bronze medal in the 3m synchro event. After Émilie’s retirement, Jennifer teamed up with Pamela Ware and together they found success at the 2013 FINA World Championships, 2014 World Cup and 2014 Commonwealth Games. In 2015, Abel and Ware won 3m synchro silver medals at the Pan Am Games and the FINA World Championship. Abel also captured gold in the individual 3m event at the Toronto Pan Am Games.

Jennifer, along with teammates Meaghan, Pamela and Roseline are affectionately known as diving’s Fab IV and are well-known in Quebec and across Canada. All four agree that they could not have achieved their amazing success without the support of their incredible moms. Their moms have been there to support them so they can focus on perfecting their dives.

They are partnering with Gillette Venus to share how its razors give them the confidence they need to perform their best in and out of the pool. Just like the FAB IV, the Gillette Venus Swirl™ razor has moves like no other with proprietary FLEXIBALL™ technology for multi-dimensional movement around all of women’s tricky areas.
