Take this quiz and see if you can tell the difference between an athlete and a mom.

Which of these statements are talking about an athlete and which are talking about a mom?

  1. Gets up at 5 a.m. every morning for training:
    1. Athlete
    2. Mom
  2. Feels anxious before the start of any big event:
    1. Athlete
    2. Mom
  3. Thinks about fitness and health when planning meals:

Did you find it hard to tell the difference? Maybe that’s because if there’s one group of people who can match the passion, dedication and commitment of those extraordinary athletes in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, it’s moms.

Moms all over the world work hard every day, whether that’s getting up every morning when it’s still dark to drive their child to practice or making sure that uniform is washed and ready – yet again! In fact, the only difference between moms and athletes is that moms don’t get a medal at the end of the day. But maybe they should.

So thank the moms in your life for the help they’ve given you. And take some time for yourself for all you do for you family and friends. It takes strength to do it all, and to bounce back on those days when you can’t quite do it all.

We’re all here to help – moms, family, friends, and even brands like Tide, Bounty, Pantene, Always and Charmin – which will hopefully make your life a little simpler.
