3 Updos to Complement the Little White Dress

Rock one of these chic updos with your little white dress this winter.

Although the little black dress will never go out of style, trendsetters everywhere are breaking the rules and stepping out in white this winter. Fashionistas across the globe revere the little white dress this season. Rocking a white frock at your next holiday party or girls night out will definitely set you apart from the rest.

So what hairstyles will keep your coolness factor super high? Here are three simple updos that take the cake.

1. The Braided Updo
This style takes less than five minutes to create. Don't believe me? Try it for yourself. Section all your hair in half and secure each section with an elastic. Then, braid each half and secure the ends. Tie the braids in a knot, tuck the ends in, secure with bobby pins and you are good to go! It's fresh, flirty and will garner tons of compliments!

2. The Classic Updo
This updo is another easy and quick style. Just gather all of your hair on the very top of your head. (It works best to flip your head over, trust me.) Once gathered, secure with an elastic that is either clear or close to your hair colour, and then twist the ponytail around itself on the crown of your head. Once twisted and molded into a chic bun, use bobby pins or spin pins to anchor the top knot from falling out. Spray hairspray all over your hair and voilá! Instant glam.

3. The Roll-do
This style looks much more complicated than it really is. First, pull the top half of your hair into a ponytail with a clear elastic. Once secure, right above the elastic, split the hair in half and pull the ponytail up and through the section. This creates that rolled look you can see in the photo above. Once complete, gather all of your hair into another clear elastic at the nape of your neck, and repeat. At this point, you will have two "rolls." Take the ends of your hair and tuck them into the top of the bottom roll and secure with bobby pins. Gorgeous!
