The Cassia Essence
A close relative of cinnamon, cassia is a plant native to China, Bangladesh, India and Vietnam. Its bark and buds are used as a spice, especially in India.
Model, actress and Indian-American cookbook author Padma Lakshmi has spent a lot of money and time on hair-care products. "Hair is a huge deal for Indian women and my hair has always played a big role in my life," says Lakshmi. "I grew up with beautiful cassia flowers all around me, and even as a chef, I've used cassia seeds in recipes much like I would use cinnamon."

"It was the discovery of the cassia plant's protecting and strengthening qualities that inspired the development of Nature Fusion," says Thomas.
